Excitement surrounds the 2008 Lubner Soloist competition

The 4th annual Ronnie and Rhona Lubner competition, to be held at the Linder Auditorium in June 2008, takes the contest into a new era. The sponsors have increased the prize money, placing this competition among the most prestigious in South Africa.
The overall winner will receive R28 000, while category winners and runners-up will receive R8 000 and R4 000 respectively.
The SANYO Foundation and our country’s young musicians are most grateful to Ronnie and Rhona Lubner, not only for their generous sponsorship but for their valuable contribution to the continued development of young, world-class South African musicians.
