Orchestra course ready to roll

The South African National Youth Orchestra Foundation’s 2006 Orchestra Course will fire the imagination of South Africa’s rising classical music stars in Cape Town this July.

An eclectic group of 280 young classical musicians, taught throughout the year by our country’s finest, dedicated and most enthusiastic music teachers, will descend on Cape Town between July 4 and 14. Hailing from all nine of South Africa’s provinces, the best classical youth talent in South Africa will learn from world-class musicians and conductors during the two-week course.

The University of Cape Town campus will play host to South casino online Africa’s two National Youth Orchestras and two National Youth Wind Ensembles as they gear up to deliver eight concerts in Cape Town.
